arrival you will be met by our representative and transferred

In the morning take a city tour covering. Raj Ghat -

visit Qutub Minar- The tall and ever attractive
monument of Delhi which can be seen from most parts of the city

the Qutab Minar. It was built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek
in 1199.Humayun's Tomb - Humayun, the eldest
son of Babur, succeeded |
|

father and became the second emperor of the Mughal Empire. India
Gate – It is relaxation area during the summer

03 :- Delhi - Leh |

| Catch
a flight for Leh. After arriving we will check- in to hotel.
Leh, the capital of Ladakh is situated at a height of 3505 meters
and |

is towards the eastern parts of Jammu and Kashmir. Leh is a
beautiful destination with so many attractions and is the center
of |
| Tibeto-Buddhist
Culture for ages. Its colorful gompas have attracted the devout
Buddhists from all over the globe. Besides, it is also |
| a
favorite hiking locale and is known for some of the best hikes

04 :- Leh |
|
|
Morning will proceed to see the city. Leh has quite a few interesting
places on offer. Bazaar, Leh palace, Monastery. Leh
palace: |
|
| The
palace was built in the 17th century and had nine storeys ,
but it is now dilapidated and deserted. It was the home of the
royal |
|
| family
until they were exiled to Stok in the 1830s. Within the palace
are Buddhist wall paintings, centuries old 'tankas' or painted |
 |
| scrolls
and other artefacts. The palace has been built on the lines
of the Potala Palace in Tibet. After Leh palace we will visit
Gompa. |
|
Spituk Gompa is on the hill top near Indus, around 18 Kms from
Leh. The Gompa was founded in 11th century by Od-De. The Gompa |
| was
named Spituk (exemplary) by Rinchen Zangpo, a translator came
to that place and said that exemplary religious community |
|
would rise. The Spituk festival held every year from 17th to
19th days of the 11th month. It houses a collection of ancient
masks, |
|
| antique
arms, icons and numerous thankas.Phyang Monastery of Ladakh
is situated at a distance of approximately 40 km to the |
|
| west
of the Leh town. It belongs to the Red Hat Sect of Buddhism.
Another attraction of Phyang Gompa is its 900 years old museum. |
|

rich collection boasts of numerous idols, thankas, Chinese,
Tibetan and Mongolian firearms and and

05 :- Leh - Shey - Thiksey - Hemis - Leh |

| Shey:
Situated on a hillock 15 km south of Leh, was once
the residence of the royal family & it was constructed by
the first king |

of Ladakh, Lhachen Palgyigon. According to tradition, it was
the seat of power of the pre-Tidetan kings. Around 12 Ft. Shakyamuni |
| Buddha's
statue made by copper guilt is the largest in the region, built
by Deldan Namgyal in 1633 is a unerary memorial to his |
|
father, , king Singee Namgyal. There is another statue of the
Buddha three stories in height.Stone carving and many chortens
are |
|
scattered around the Dresthang Gompa. On the 30th day of the
1st Tibetan month celebrates shey rul-lo and on the 10th day
of |
| the
7th Tibetan month the festival of Shey surb-lo is held. |

Thiksey: About 20 kms from Leh, Thiksey is
an imposing monastery and one of the finest example of Ladakhi
architecture. The |

storey monastery complex contains numerous stupas, statues,
thankas, wall paintings, swords and a large pillar engraved
with |
| the
Buddha's teachings,there are sacred shrines and a many precious

| Hemis:
The largest monastery in Ladakh,was built in 1630.
It belongs to the red sect, Brokpa. It lies at a distance of
45 km south |

of Leh. Impressive and intriguing, Hemis is different
from the other important monasteries of Ladakh. The annual festival, |
|
commemorating the birth anniversary of Guru Padmasambhava,
is held for two days in June-July, enlivening the courtyard
of |
|
the monastery. The festival of dances, where good triumphs over
evil in a colourful pageant, is also the annual 'bazaar' where
Ladakhis |
|

wall paintings . One of the major attractions of the Gompa consists
of the two masked dances that take place every year. |

drive to Srinagar . The capital of Jammu and Kashmir and the
largest city in the state, Srinagar is famous for its canals,

been a center of art and leaning. Srinagar is a unique city
because of its |
| |
lakes - the Dal and Nagin. The River
Jhelum also flows through a part of the city. Dal
Lake: Srinagar sightseeing loses its |

if you have not visited the Dal Lake. With the backdrop of mountains
on three sides, the view of the Dal Lake looks as if |

you are watching a photograph.This lake counts amongst
the most splendid lakes in the country. One of the major attractions

the Dal Lake is the houseboats that stand lining its
edges. Nagin Lake: Another popular tourist
attraction of Srinagar is the Nagin |

Lake. Placid water of the lake, surrounded with manicured flowerbeds

09 :- Srinagar |

Morning we will enjoy beautiful rides on shikaras on Dal
lake; visiting Mughal Gardens, Cheshmashahi,
Shalimar Garden and |

many mores. We will also visit to Religious Places in Srinagar
Hazratbal Shrine.The Hazratbal shrine was originally built in
1634AD |

by
Sadiq Khan for the purpose of prayers. Emperor Shah Jehan declared
this place as perfect for worship as he would conveniently |
|
| |
perform
ablution at banks of the Dallake and then pray. The holy relic
Moi-e-muqqadas was placed at Hazratbal during the reign of |

| |
Emperor Aurangzeb around 1699AD when Fazil Khan was the

Day 10 :- Srinagar - Gulmarg - Srinagar |
| |
Gulmarg
literally means “Meadow of flowers”. Gulmarg is
located 60 KMs away from Srinagar which is an hour and half
journey by car. |

Gulmarg has attracted millions of tourists throughout its existence
with the scenic beauty of the Himalayan Mountains in the back |
|
| |
drop. Gulmarg has long been famous for golfing. The 18-hole
Gulmarg Golf Club is in existence for 100years. Old name of
Gulmarg |

was "Gaurimarg", the name of Lord Shiva's wife. Yousuf
Shah Chak changed its name to Gulmarg, meaning the place of
roses. |
