  Description
  The word “Char Dham” refers to the four abodes of God, namely Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri
  at the Himalayan region of Garhwal (Uttrakhand). All these locations are believed to be highly sacred by the
  Hindu religion.Each of the Four Dhams is blessed with spellbinding scenic beauty and countless ancient temples
  which definitely makes it a best pilgrimage destination.Traditionally, the Chardham yatra is undertaken from the
  west to the east.. Amongst the four Char Dhams, Yamunotri and Gangotri are dedicated to goddesses Yamuna
  and Ganga respectively. On the other hand, Kedarnath is dedicated to Lord Shiva while Badrinath is dedicated

 Trip Overview
   
  Delhi - Haridwar - Barkot - Yamunotri - Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Guptkashi - Kedarnath - Rudrapryag - Badrinath - Rudrapryag -  
  Rishikesh -Delhi  
   
  Day-1: Delhi – Haridwar (210 Kms, 6 Hours approx)  
  Arrive in delhi airport, Our agent will meet you at the airport. And then we will proceed to Haridwar. Arrived haridwar and check in to hotel. Haridwar_Har_ki_pauri
  Take rest. In the evening we will take you to the Har-ki-Pouri, it’s a beautiful place for worship of holy ganges. Overnight at Haridwar
  
  Day-2 : Haridwar – Barkot (205 Kms, 6 Hours approx)
  In the morning after having nice breakfast, we will drive to Barkot . After arriving barkot, check in to hotel and take some rest.

  Day 03 :- Barkot – Yamunotri- Barkot (32 Kms & 5Kms) Yamunotri
  Have breakfast and drive towards to jankichatti. From here will move on trek to yamunotri temple. After arriving in Yamunotri, we will take a
  holy dip in the hot water springs and visit in the temple. Yamunotri - The Yamunotri temple is one of the main attractions here. Yamunotri
  also has a number of hot water springs and glaciers with medicinal properties. The Yamunotri temple is one of the main attractions here.
  Yamunotri also has a number of hot water springs and glaciers with medicinal properties. It has many interesting excursion points within a  
  few kilometres with good eating and lodging facilities. Some of these are the famous point at the confluence of Hanuman Ganga and
  Yamuna, the hot water spring, Janki Chatti and the Badkot that has one of the most ancient temples. Back to Barkot. Overnight in Barkot
 
  Day 4: Barkot – Uttarkashi (85Kms, 3 Hours Approx)  
  Morning breakfast, and enjoy a drive to Uttarkashi. On the way we will visit to Kashi Vishwanath Temple. The Kashi Vishwanath temple is
  located in the heart of the cultural capital of India, Varanasi. It stands on the  western bank of India's holiest river Ganges. The Kashi Uttarkashi
  Vishwanath temple is the center of faith for millions of Hindus. The word 'Kashi' originated from the word 'Kas' which means to shine. Kashi
  is mentioned repeatedly in the scriptures - the Brahmanas, Upanishads and the Puranas. In the evening will attend the beautiful aarti. Take
  rest. Proceed to Uttarkashi and check-in to hotel. Overnight Uttarkashi
  
  Day 05: Uttarkashi - Gangotri – Uttarkashi  
  Morning drive to Gangotri that will take around 5 hrs. Arrived Gangotri, the source of the river Ganges and seat of the goddess Ganga, The Gangotri
  Pandavas are said to have visited this place to atone for the sin of killing their relatives during the Kurukshetra war. At this point the Ganges
  River flows north, giving this village its name, Gangotri, which means "Ganga turned north." Lord shiva received her into hismatted locks to
  break the great force of her fall. From there it emerged into many streams and the one which started from Gangotri was called Bhagirathi.
  The Pandavas, it is said, came here to perform the great 'Deva Yajna' to atone for the death of their kinsmen in the epic battle of Mahabharat.
  Take a dip in the holy river and perform the rituals at the temple. Take rest and in the evening we will go back to Uttarkashi.

  Day 06: Uttarkashi – Rudraprayag  
  After having breakfast, will proceed a drive to Rudraprayag. Named after Lord Shiva (Rudra), Rudraprayag is situated at the holy confluence of
  Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers. The meeting of the Mandakini and Alaknanda rivers has a unique beauty of its own and it seems as if two Rudraprayag
  sisters were embracing each other. It is home to the Rudranath Temple that is dedicated to Shiva. Near the temple is the place where Narada
  an ancient Indian sage reputed to be the inventor of the veena, a musical instrument, is believed to have meditated. Take a holy dip in the
  river and perform the rituals at the temple. Take rest. Overnight Rudrprayag
 
  Day 07: Rudraprayag – Kedarnath
  Have nice breakfast and enjoy a lovely drive to Kedarnath. Amidst the dramatic mountainscapes of the majestic Kedarnath range stands one  
  of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Kedar or Lord Shiva. Lying at an altitude of 3584 m on the head of river Mandakini, the shrine of Kedarnath is Kedarnath
  amongst the holiest pilgrimages for the Hindus. There are more than 200 shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva in the district itself, the most
  important one is Kedarnath. Kedarnath temple is surrounded by lofty snow covered peaks. As you reached Kedarnath, check -in the ashram
  and take a dip in the holy water of hot spring. Visit to the temple and perform the rituals. Overnight Kedarnath
   
  Day 08: Kedarnath – Rudraprayag  
  Have breakfast, we will drive back to Rudraprayag. Check-in to hotel and take rest. Whole day free. Overnight Rudraprayag Badrinath
 
  Day 09: Rudraprayag – Badrinath
  Have breakfast and drive to Badrinath. Badrinath is considered the holiest of the four important shrines in Garhwal. The town is at an altitude
  of 3,133 m. above sea level, situated on the left bank of river Alaknanda and exactly between the two mountains Nara and Narayan. The
  shrine is dedicated to Vishnu, the preserver and falls in the religious itinerary of every devout Hindu. As you reached Badrinath, check-in the  
  ashram, and take a dip in the holy water of hot spring. Visit the temple and perform the rituals. Overnight Badrinath.
 
  Day 10: Badrinath - Joshimath – Rudraprayag
  Have breakfast and enjoy a drive to Rudraprayag. On the way will also visit Mana Village, Vyas Gufa and Bhim Pull.
  Mana village: Though a small and segregated village it is popular among tourists because of natural beauty of surroundings and exquisite Joshimath
  carpets, blankets, and colorful jerseys knitted by local women. Vyas Gufa- It is the rock cave of the saint Ved Vyas, he was the writer of
  Mahabharata who is believed to have lived in the caves. It was in these caves where Vyas Maharishi composed the Mahabharata. These
  are named after him. Bhim Pul- It is a massive rock forming a natural bridge over the Saraswati River. It presents a spectacular view of  
   water thundering down through the narrow passage under the rock and is believed to have been placed there by Bhim, the second eldest  
   among the five Pandava brothers. Joshinath: The temple is about 1200 years old. Dedicated to Vishnu, the presiding deity of the temple
   is Narsimha, the half-man, half-lion and fourth incarnation of Vishnu.Like Badrinath, he is also sitting in the padmasana. The characteristic
   feature of the deity is that its left wrist is very thin and is getting thinner by the day. As you reached Rudraprayag , check-in to hotel and  
   take rest. Overnight Rudraprayag. Rishikesh
   
   Day 11: Rudraprayag – Rishikesh
   Enjoy your breakfast and proceed a drive to Rishikesh. It takes 5 hrs drive. On the way will visit Devprayag. Devprayag is the point where
   the Bhagirathi River and the Alaknanda River join to form the Ganges river. The small town of Devprayag can be said to be a temple town,
   due to presence of many temples here.The place is of high religious importance, as Ganga takes it real form here. If you like, you can a dip  
   in the waters and perform rituals. As you reached Rishikesh, check-in the hotel. Take rest. Overnight Rishikesh.  
   
   Day 12: Rishikesh – Delhi
   Have breakfast and drive to Delhi. It takes seven hours to reach. On reaching Delhi, you will be transferred to the IGI Airport for your onward
   flight., with sweet memories of India.
